Composition & Active Ingredients
Oxytetracycline (as dihydrate / hydrochloride) 200 mg/ml long-acting formulation (Fatro specs). Amber multidose glass vials.
Clinical Indications
Treatment of bovine and ovine respiratory disease, enteritis, anaplasmosis, leptospirosis, systemic wound infections, foot rot, and pinkeye caused by oxytetracycline-susceptible organisms.
Administration & Dosage
Single deep intramuscular injection of 20 mg oxytetracycline/kg bodyweight (1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight). Delivers sustained therapeutic blood levels for 3 to 4 days.
Storage & Stability
Store below 25°C protected from light. Do not freeze.
Do not administer more than 10–15 ml at a single injection site in cattle. Avoid intravenous injection of LA formulations.
